Experiment: the Kinect iRobot (video)
The people from Squad Bot have managed to mount a Kinect sensor on an iRobot. The results of this experiment are stunning: the robot is able to map the room in 3D and send it though the WiFi network to a computer. It's also possible to give the robot driving instructions by making gestures. For more info, check this video:
